No Graphics Card, No Problem—New Intel Drivers Configure Games Automatically For Best Performance


While a dedicated graphics card is recommended to play the most recent and memory intensive games, there are tons of people who rely on their processor’s built-in graphics to play some games. However, this effort asks for heavily tweaking the settings and quality to make sure that it’s playable.
In order to make this task less cumbersome, Intel has released its latest set of drivers. Available for Windows, these drivers introduce a new feature with the ability to automatically configure game settings for Intel Graphics on 6th Gen Core CPUs or higher. This new feature will arrive on the upcoming machines with 8th Gen Core CPUs with Radeon RX Vega M cards as well.
In case you’re having the above-mentioned CPUs and you’ve downloaded the latest drivers, you’ll find the ‘Gaming icon’ in Graphics Control Panel.

Supported Games by new Intel drivers

Talking about the supported games, on all supported Intel hardware, you can play Battlefield 1, Battlefield 4, American Truck Simulator, Call of Duty WWII, Destiny 2, DOTA 2, Grand Theft Auto V, League of Legends, Overwatch, and World of Tanks.
If you’re fortunate enough to own CPUs with Intel Graphics 620 or better, you can play Fortnite: Battle Royale, They Are Billions, Lost Sphear, Age of Empires: Definitive Edition, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age HD, OK KO: Let’s Play Heroes, Subnautica, Legrand Legacy: Tale of the Fatebounds, and Dragon Ball FighterZ.
On Intel’s Iris Pro hardware, you can play Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition.
At the moment, this functionality is in beta phase. So, do expect some more changes in near future. Get these graphics drivers here.
